Under the patronage of the President of Mutah University, Dr. Salameh Al-Naimat, the College of Arts organized a Scientific Day at the auditorium of the Deanship of Student Affairs. The event was attended by the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Al-Sarayrah, the deans of various colleges, a large number of faculty and administrative staff, and students from all departments of the College.

In a welcoming speech, the Dean of the College, Dr. Rania Al-Aqarbah, emphasized the importance of the Scientific Day in showcasing student talents and strengthening their academic and cultural identity.

The day featured a diverse program of activities. Students from the Department of European Languages presented a musical performance, followed by a short video highlighting the achievements of the college’s students. A poetry evening was also held, during which students expressed their national visions. Additionally, the event included theatrical performances by students from the Department of French Language and Literature and the Department of Translation, delivering cultural and awareness-raising messages that were met with enthusiastic engagement from the audience.

The scientific program included the presentation of outstanding projects by translation students and an art exhibition featuring student drawings. The event also hosted panel discussions and academic lectures on various literary and cultural topics. Among the highlights was a seminar titled "The Mutual Influence Between Arabic Literature and Modern European Literatures," with contributions from Professor Dr. Fayez Al-Qaisi (Department of Arabic Language and Literature), Dr. Ahmad Al-Btoush (Department of European Languages), Dr. Abeer Al-Rawashdeh (Department of English Language and Literature), and Dr. Laith Ibrahim (Department of European Languages).

A workshop titled "Artificial Intelligence in Language Teaching and Assessment" was also conducted by Dr. Laith Ibrahim, who shed light on the latest technological applications in this field and their impact on developing learners' skills.

The Scientific Day concluded with a presentation by English language students, followed by an official ceremony honoring the participants. University President Dr. Al-Naimat praised their efforts and valuable contributions to the success of the event, affirming the university’s commitment to supporting various scientific activities that strengthen its position as a leading institution in fostering creativity and innovation.
