Under the patronage of His Excellency the President of Mutah University, the College of Arts held a celebration honoring its student team for winning first place in theatrical performance at the 2024 English Language Olympiad, which took place in Amman with the participation of 58 teams from various countries.

The event was attended and sponsored by University President Dr. Salameh Al-Nuaimat, along with the Vice President for Scientific Colleges Affairs, Dr. Amin Aql, deans, and members of the academic and administrative staff. The ceremony featured outstanding theatrical performances by the winning team, showcasing a high level of creativity and professionalism.

In his speech, Dr. Al-Nuaimat expressed his pride in this achievement, emphasizing that it reflects the university’s vision to support excellence and innovation. He noted that this win adds to the university’s growing list of accomplishments across diverse fields. He also highlighted the importance of extracurricular activities in developing students' skills and preparing them to compete locally and internationally.

The winning team included students Tamara Abu Qaoud, Ghufran Al-Akhras, Sadeen Abu Shaheen, Lana Al-Ruqab, and Tayba Al-Mubaydeen, all of whom delivered impressive performances that earned them this recognition.

Dr. Al-Nuaimat also praised the efforts of the team’s supervisors, Dr. Ali Al-Nawaiseh and Dr. Nader Albkower, for their dedication in training and mentoring the students to reach such a distinguished level.

At the end of the ceremony, the University President honored the students and supervisors, thanking them for their hard work and encouraging continued dedication in achieving further success that strengthens the university’s standing both nationally and internationally.
