Dr. Rania Al-Aqarbeh, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, awarded the students participating in the SSIT Club (Short Story in Translation). The students recognized were: Roa’a Lutfi, Malak Al-Zebn, Taima Al-Muwajdeh, and Shireen Al-Adayleh.

The SSIT Club is a collaborative initiative between the Department of Translation at Mutah University and the Language Center at Al-Balqa Applied University. It aims to foster discussions around translated literary stories and encourages the exchange of ideas and experiences among students from both institutions.

The participating students shared their experiences in the club, highlighting the value of such initiatives in strengthening their practical skills and expanding their literary horizons. Dr. Rania emphasized the importance of these kinds of projects in nurturing collaboration and creativity among students, noting that the club offers a stimulating environment that enriches literary discussions.

Dr. Lubna Abdul-Hadi, also from the Department of Translation at Mutah University and the club’s coordinator, spoke about the importance of providing opportunities to showcase translated works and raise awareness of the role and impact of translation in the literary field.
